All our friendly crew are:

  • ISA & Surfing England qualified Level 1 and 2 Surf/SUP instructors

  • RLSS / SLSGB / RNLI lifeguards, and

  • trained to work with people of all ages and skill levels.

Surfing is a great activity for all ages from the young to the not so young. Kids as young as 6 years can learn if accompanied by parents, 8-year-olds and above without parents, but preferable to be accompanied if under 10yrs.

If the sea is looking more like a mill pond then Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP-ing) is a great activity to enjoy, and is one of the fastest growing watersports in the UK, plus it’s easier than surfing!

Private Lessons

The best way to learn watersports. All our friendly, qualified Surf & SUP instructors are trained to work with people of all ages and skill level.

Includes 1.5 hour of teaching with your own private surf instructor, plus 30 mins free hire to practice on your own after your lesson. Includes board and wetsuit, plus gloves and boots if necessary.

Prices (per person):

  • One-to-one - just you and your private instructor: £110pp

  • Two-to-One - you plus a friend with an instructor: £70pp

  • Three-to-One - you plus two friends with an instructor: £60pp

Group Lessons

Join a group lesson with 4 to 16 other people. Come on your own or bring some friends. Includes board and wetsuit, plus gloves and boots if necessary.

1 hour 45 mins lesson - Adults: £48pp / Under 15s: £40pp

  • Surfing or Paddleboarding.

  • Surfing is wave dependent on the day. No waves we can Paddleboard. and do games. Either way, it’s loads of fun.

  • For ages from 8 and upwards unaccompanied.

Please advise on booking if you specifically want ONLY surfing or paddleboarding. If there are no waves for surfing, or too choppy for paddleboarding, then we can reschedule subject to your circumstances.

NOTE: For children 6-8 years old, a parent or guardian has to be present in the water and sign a disclaimer taking full responsibility.

Hire Plus

Our ‘Hire Plus’ option is great for beginners - just 15 minutes tuition to get you going with the basics of Surfing or Paddleboarding, then time to practice and enjoy the ocean on your own.

Includes board hire, wetsuit, and 15 mins tuition.

All prices per 1 hour 15 mins (1 hour hire plus 15 mins tuition)

  • Surfboard Hire PLUS - £38

  • Paddleboard Hire PLUS - £38

  • Includes board, wetsuit, gloves & boots & 15 mins coaching on sand.

NOTE: Under 18-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult who must sign a disclaimer form on their behalf.

Standard Hire

Walk-ins are welcome any time to hire our equipment.
All prices are per hour:

  • Foamie Surfboard - £17
