GROM SQUAD

The ultimate pathway to learn to surf! The GROM SQUAD program at Shaka, welcomes anyone with an interest in learning to surf or developing current skills. This accessible program provides a step-by-step plan to guide you on your surfing journey, whilst learning about ocean safety, and the environment.

Being a member of the GROM SQUAD program, you will learn about protecting our playground, the waves! Without waves, there is no surfing, so we must all look after the environment we love. Safety is also paramount to surfing – the log book and your coach will give you all the information you need to start surfing safely!

There are 5 levels, each named after iconic surf breaks. It doesn’t matter if you just cruise through level 1, or want to shred it to level 5. It’s all about having fun and being part of the squad.

Summer Surf Club (Pay As You Go) - Grom Squad log book optional, only £5 per child.

KIDS SPRING SURF CLUB

5 x 1.5 hr sessions on either Saturdays or Sundays.

SPECIAL OFFER: £180.00 per child for 5 week package.
Includes Surfing England Grom Squad Log book.

SUNDAYS: APRIL/ MAY APRIL - 13, 20, 27 & MAY 4, 11, 2025

SATURDAYS: MAY/JUNE MAY - 10, 17, 24, 31 & JUNE 7, 2025

11.45am to 13.15pm on either Saturdays or Sundays for 5 consecutive weeks.
1.5 hours per session for 8-15 year olds.
Surfing or paddle-boarding fun depending on conditions on the day.
With SLSGB & RLLS Lifeguards, ISA & Surfing England Surf instructors, DBS checked instructors.
All equipment including wetsuit, gloves, boots and boards.
Limited spaces. Payment secures your spot.
If bad weather postpones the lesson, it will be rescheduled.

What equipment is included: Wetsuits & Boards.

What you need to bring: Water, suncream and towel or changing robe. Shaka robes available to buy here.

Weekdays only. 2 days a week / Wednesdays 3pm / Fridays 12.45pm
RLSS & SLSGB Lifeguards & ISA or Surfing England Surf instructors. DBS checked

Pay as you go £38pp (subject to space)
